Took a Black Taxi Cab from our hotel to UCL through all the traffic. Had my own chair in a waiting area and was taken into a room where five men professors asked me more questions.
Then a nice lady doctor gave me a lumbar puncture, that wasn’t so nice. They need the fluid to help diagnose my aphasia. I also gave some extra fluid for research. They also took blood.
Lunch break
Had some lunch, it was cottage pie, hubby didn’t get any. It was a very hot day. We took a stroll around Queen square.
I then had to go for a speech therapy session in a very stuffy hot room. The lady tested me with some words then told me that hubby was doing a good job and aphasia speech therapy is only good for stroke victims.
Feeling bad
We walked to get a tube train from Kings Cross station and stopped halfway to have some refreshments. I didn’t feel good as my head was hurting. We went into Boots the chemist to get some tablets and I was sick.
